Learn Greek verbs: key phrases for students in class

Table of contents

When learning Greek, one of the biggest challenges is using Greek verbs naturally in conversations. We know that this is not easy. Perhaps you don’t live in Greece, or – if you’re here – the people around you speak very quickly. However, there is one place where you can really practice, and that place is none other than your class!

An online or in-person classroom setting gives you the perfect opportunity to practice verbs in a meaningful way.
Instead of just memorizing vocabulary, you can apply it immediately by asking questions and interacting with your teacher (and classmates in case of a group class). Think about it: Every time you ask a question, take notes, or answer your teacher, you’re using verbs! The more you use them in real situations, the faster they become second nature.

This post will introduce you to the most important Greek verbs for students in class, complete with examples, and practical phrases. Start using these verbs in your lessons, and you’ll see how quickly your Greek improves!
